Working with Adam has been one of the most profound experiences not only of my life, but of my entire family’s life.

When I first began this work, I was carrying a lifetime of heartbreak, pain, and experiences I had never fully been able to release. Through my work with sacred mushrooms, and with Adam supporting and guiding me through that process, I was able to go into places within myself that I had spent much of my life avoiding. I found forgiveness, understanding, compassion, and a sense of peace that I honestly did not know was possible.

Adam has also worked with my husband and me as a couple. After more than 30 years together, you accumulate so much—love and beautiful memories, but also wounds, misunderstandings, resentments, and things that were simply never said. Our experiences together gave us an opportunity to see one another again with open hearts. The work brought a new level of honesty, intimacy, forgiveness, and connection into our marriage. After more than three decades together, that has been an extraordinary gift.

But perhaps what moves me most is what I have witnessed within my children.

Adam has worked extensively with both of my adult sons. My oldest son had struggled deeply with addiction and with challenges in his marriage. Adam supported him through some incredibly difficult inner work, and I watched my son begin confronting the pain and patterns underlying his struggles rather than simply running from them. Adam later worked with my son and his wife together, helping them explore the wounds and trust issues within their relationship. Watching them rebuild their connection, rediscover their love for one another, and create a healthier life together has been incredibly moving for me as a mother.

He has also worked with my younger son, helping him explore who he is, recognize his own worth, and discover a confidence and strength within himself that I had always hoped he would find. Watching him become more comfortable with himself and more capable of loving the person he is has been beautiful.

What makes Adam different is that his work does not begin when a journey starts and end when it is over. He cares deeply about what happens before, during, and especially after these experiences. He prepares us, sits beside us through some of our most vulnerable moments, and helps us make meaning of what we experienced so that we can actually bring those lessons back into our relationships and our lives.

There is a depth of compassion in Adam that I believe comes from having walked through his own darkness and confronted his own shadows. He does not guide people from a pedestal. He meets people as another human being who understands suffering, transformation, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to truly look within yourself.

I sometimes struggle to put into words what this work has meant to our family because its impact feels larger than any individual experience. I have watched healing move through my marriage, my children, and their relationships. In many ways, it feels as though we are addressing patterns that existed long before us while creating something healthier for the generations that will come after us.

I am profoundly grateful for the love, patience, presence, and commitment Adam has shown our family.

And my belief in Adam extends beyond his work as a facilitator. I believe deeply in the mission behind the Church of the Sacred Mushroom, the idea that these sacred medicines can once again be approached with reverence, spirituality, community, responsibility, and respect rather than fear or shame.

I believe human beings carry wounds simply from living the human experience. We all deserve opportunities to know ourselves more deeply, to forgive, to reconnect, and to remember what is sacred.

I wholeheartedly support Adam as a guide, facilitator, founder, and human being. I believe in the work he is doing, I believe in the mission of the Church of the Sacred Mushroom, and I will forever be grateful for what this work has brought into the lives of the people I love most.
